Arie Crown Theater, Chicago, Illinois

Retrofit of 4,000 seat theater facility, a building within the building, which included a total redesign of the shell, sound, lighting and acoustics of the existing theater.  The design intended to introduce a dialogue between the old shell and the new creating a more intimate and dynamic theater experience with greatly approved sight lines and acoustics. The language refers to its place within the McCormick complex and expanding upon the rigor of the existing complex.
