4 Seasons, Chicago

Research based project focused on designing transformative spaces/pavilions which could easily adapt to change of seasons and variety of events in Chicago. This project will also impose the natural connection to Chicago lake front but placing the footprints of proposed pavilions on the east side of Chicago by lake front area, which is currently disconnected from the remaining west part of Chicago. The design includes series of temporary pavilions which can be plugged to proposed fixed infrastructure, containing water and power supply from renewable resources such as solar panels and rain water harvesting storage tanks. Proposed pavilions are modular structure which could be adapted to any shape, scale, can be open or enclosed depending on weather conditions and can support larger scale events organized in Chicago every year.
